Live the Law of Allowing

Godless Billboard Turns Heads Not Faith in Lakeland

Lakeland, FL – Rob Curry doesn’t believe in God.

“There isn’t any way to distinguish any God from make-believe,” said Curry, the President of the Atheists of Florida.  He says he isn’t trying to change other people’s minds, but he is hoping to reach others like him with a billboard that reads: Don‘t believe in God. You are not alone. www.AtheistsofFlorida.org

“It’s a way of helping to build a secular community of reason,” said Curry. The billboard was placed this month on the eastbound side of Memorial Boulevard near Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, in Lakeland.

Johntay Smith, who lives in Lakeland not far from the billboard, says she was disturbed by the sign. “It’s not right and they need to take it down,” said Smith.

The billboard will remain up for 75 days.

“Nonphysical (Source) is not asking you to ascribe to some specific label or stand in specific corners or in specific synagogues or churches with specific words. You are beings who are blessed and who are deserving of Well-being and you will find your Well-being in many different ways — and the labels simply do not matter.” –Excerpted from the Abraham Hicks workshop in Dallas, TX on Saturday, March 13th, 1999

Live the Law of Allowing

The article above written by David Leonard, of 10 Connects News
(Tampa FL) appeared on the stations website. I thought it was a very interesting article because it completely illustrates just how the majority of people cannot fathom the Law of Allowing.

As with most news, the story in itself does’nt follow the Law of Allowing. If it did, there simply wouldn’t be story. And the news agency wouldn’t be trying to create controversy by having two diametrically opposing thoughts in one article.

I’m not judging the article in any way simply pointing out the facts of journalism. Based on the law of allowing the story is as it should be. And it should be allowed without feeling one way or the other about it.

The Most Complex Law

The Law of Allowing is probably the most complex of the Universal Laws and admittedly the hardest to master because of our very human nature. The Law is two-fold.

The first part of the law says that you must allow good energy to flow into your life (see the Law of Allowing). But it’s the second part of the Law that I’m focusing on here.

This is the part that requires us to stop being human. What I mean by that is it requires us to stop doing a very human thing such as seeing right and wrong, good or evil. But, without mastery of this law, things will never change and you’ll find it nearly impossible to manifest the life of your dreams.

This part of the law states that you must allow others to have, do, be, or say whatever they want. There’s no casting of judgment on them at all no matter what. You’re able to do this because you’re in such alignment with Source that you have no feelings whatsoever about how others live their lives.

If all the people of the world could get to this point of alignment, it would mean peace on earth literally. All crimes, violence, wars, arguments, hate, anger, loathing, despair, jealousy, greed, and all other negative emotion comes from not allowing people to make their own choices and live their own lives.

The Law of Allowing is trying to teach us that we are all one, linked together, through a Universal Collective-Intelligence. And every last one of us has a God Essence within us including Mr. Curry even if he chooses not to believe it. It is because of this God Essence that we’re all brothers and sisters.

We all have Free Will. And it’s because of this Free Will that everything that happens in our lives is by our own choice. And we have to allow others to make whatever choices they choose to make with out having any type of emotional attachment to the circumstances or the choice.

Mr. Curry’s billboard certainly stirs up emotion in a lot of people. But if Mr. Curry chooses to be an Atheist and not to believe in God (Source) then we should be able to allow him his belief. His belief doesn’t affect what you or I choose to believe in any way. And his belief or non-belief in this case doesn’t make him good or bad. It’s simply a belief.

Practicing Spiritual MYOB

This is where we all must learn to practice some serious spiritual MYOB (mind your own business). A little live and let live. The vast majority of stuff that we involve ourselves in isn’t going to affect our lives one way or the other.

It’s just that most of us were given a deep sense of what we believe to be right or wrong, good or evil. But none of that exists in a world where everyone is practicing the law of allowing.

As I began consistently to practice the law of allowing, I realized that holding any kind of emotion other than love and acceptance toward my earthly brothers and sisters meant that I was’ nt living up to the God Essence that dwells inside me.

I knew this, because I’d feel negative feelings such as anger, jealousy, loathing, hate, disgust, you name it. And I know that feeling negative in any way means I’m not in connection with Source.

I don’t personally know Mr. Curry but if he can put his billboard as “…a way of helping to build a secular community of reason,” without trying to change others then he may just be more God like than those who find his billboard offensive.

To fully master, the law of allowing you must take a step back and just watch. Watch what others do with out passing any kind of judgment or trying to change them. Instead of thinking, their behavior is right or wrong, good or evil, simply make a conscious commitment to yourself that you’ll not interfere or feel negative emotions no matter the situation.

Then if you do begin to feel negative just say to yourself…I understand that they have free will. They’re making their own choices based on their life experience and I choose to do the same. I allow them their choices but I choose something different for my life at this moment. When you can do that and feel genuine joy, you will be on your way to mastering the law of allowing.

And you’ll be one-step closer to making the world a more loving and peaceful place.
