Spinning the Wheel Syndrome
It’s important to understand that the Universal Laws that govern the Laws of Attraction say that you cannot manifest desires for others. You can only manifest your own desires. And that’s true. Because it’s impossible to know, what others are really thinking or feeling.
But when you’re planning a future for your family, your desires generally become more about what’s best for them. Whatever it is you choose to envision a new home, money in the bank, to be debt free, sending your kids to the best college, won’t happen unless you can get clear about your intentions.
Seeing clearly, what you want for the future is the first step. But in order for it to happen, you must be able to communicate your desires to your partner and your family. Communication is vital to manifesting your desires.
Without clear vision and communication, your desires may be taking you in a different direction than your partner. You may be planning for something very different from your partner.
Plan for the Same Future
You may see yourself raising your children in a quaint old farmhouse in the country. But your partner may want to move to a 4000sq. ft. home in the suburbs. With out clear vision, there’s no moving forward. I refer to this as the “Spinning the Wheel Syndrome.”
You’re on one page and your partner’s on another. The only thing this does is keep you both stuck in what you already have. Neither one will be able to manifest exactly what they want because of the conflict. Depending on the diversity of the desires, this kind of conflict could put an end to your relationship.
Communication in all areas is the key. Make it a point to share your desires often and ask your partner what they envision. Come to an agreement about what you both envision for your family’s future.
It’s important to remember to listen. Remember the Laws of Attraction bring you exactly what you focus on. So getting on the same page as your partner will make it easier to realize your desires. Come to an agreement as a family, so that you can all have a clear vision of what you expect.
The more positive energy you can put toward a desire the more quickly it manifests. If you’re all putting positive energy towards the same goals and desires you are speeding up the process exponentially.
Compromise
When it comes to your family and your partner, you must be willing to compromise. It doesn’t do you any good to envision one thing for your child if they have other desires. You’ll be spending time and energy trying to manifest the future you want instead of what they truly want.
This will just lead to “spinning the wheel” and a lot of unnecessary negativity. Knowing everyone’s desires will make it easier to get clear and focus on dreams as a family. I’m referring to life changing desires, the ones that affect everyone as a unit.
By communicating and finding common ground, you’ll be able to stop spinning your wheels and staying stuck in what is. You’ll be focused on, and moving toward those desires together.
Expectation Board
Once you’ve decided on your family’s goals make an expectation board. An expectation board is different from a vision board. Here is where you put the things that you expect to happen with out a doubt.
Expectation is the hardest part of manifesting your desires. You must expect then allow into your life that which you intend. No matter what your expectations go to the computer and search for pictures that match them.
Print out the pictures and tape them to any old piece of poster board. Hang it where the whole family will be able to see it every day. This will keep your expectations fresh in your mind so everyone will stay focused on them.
Make it a point to have regular conversations about the things on your expectation board. Be excited about them. Remember it’s your feelings that put you in a place to realize your desires. The more everyone communicates and stays focused the more likely you are to be living the life you all desire in a very short amount of time.
