Being Thankful for Your Debt?
I usually don’t write about money, because I think the Universal Laws and especially the Law of Attraction have been used and abused in that respect. Most people only want to learn about the laws because they think it’s a get rich quick thing.
That’s not the case at all. The Universal Laws are much more about spirituality and living a peaceful happy life. But with the holidays upon us, and more and more people spending I thought it might be a good time to write about money or in this case debt. Yes, I know seemingly the focus is on the wrong thing, debt not abundance.
But it’s what you believe about your debt that may just determine how much abundance you attract. If you tend solely to focus on the debt (lack) you already have, believe it’s hopeless and you’ll never see daylight, it probably is and you probably won’t. But if you take the focus off the debt (lack) and look at it from a positive perspective, you’ll be able to attract abundance and quickly.
The first step to manifesting abundance is to accept where you are right now. Accept that the choices you’ve made up to this point put you in a position to be in debt or feel lack. But, also know that where you are now is only temporary. It will change if you choose for it to.
Now that you’ve begun to accept this, it’s time to see your “debt” for what it really is and be thankful for it. What I mean by that is look at all the things you’ve your “debt” has brought you. For instance, it’s brought you your home, your car, your education, that new 52” HDTV, you brand new Blackberry, whatever material items you’ve acquired.
Next, take timeout everyday to be thankful for all the things you have. Look around your home and say to yourself, “I’m grateful for this beautiful home and all it contains.” Then make a conscious choice that what you’ve already acquired is enough for now. That you’re perfectly happy with it and you don’t desire anything else.
Once you can get into a mindset to be thankful for the things your “debt” has brought to you, you’ll no longer feel so overwhelmed. And you’ll see that what you already have really is enough for now. Believing this is the first key to attracting abundance into your life.
Now that you’re able to be thankful for your “debt,” and you’re no longer acquiring new debt, you should be ready to take the next step in dealing with the old debt. However, this requires changing your entire outlook and only a few people are willing to take this step. But if you can be one of the few you’ll see a huge difference in the way you accumulate wealth and fast.
Stop thinking in terms of “debt” (lack) instead think in terms of abundance and wealth. Thinking of it this way means that no matter what your bank balance says you have more than enough to go around.
And, soon you’ll be more than happy to share with others. Others being those companies that helped you to acquire the things you have. Once you put “debt” in this context, it becomes nonthreatening.
Every time you sit down to pay a bill and say you’re grateful, you’ll feel the stress release, and you’ll begin to enjoy sharing your wealth. As you begin to think in terms of abundance instead of in terms of lack, you’ll see a huge difference in your approach to how you share your wealth.
This new approach will make it easier for you to begin to accumulate more wealth. You’ll have changed your views about money completely. You’re no longer seeing from a position of lack you’re now seeing from a position of abundance. It is from this prospective that things begin to manifest.
You’ll find new ways to accumulate wealth or new opportunities will come about. But either way in a very short time debt will no longer be a word you use. You’ll be talking only about the gratitude you feel for the glorious abundance you’ve accumulated.
