Holiday Stress

Stress is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are.–Chinese Proverb

Holiday Stress

There’s no denying that the holidays add more to the to-do list than most of us can do. But does stress really need to be a part of the holiday season? Stress is just a habit of thinking negatively.

The more you focus on the negative the more likely it is to manifest itself into something you believe with out a doubt to be so. When a thought becomes a belief the harder it is to break the habit of thinking it. But you can.

Using the Law of Attraction, you can learn to relieve stress and change your thinking habits. Once know and consistently apply the secret of these ancient laws you can easily be more happy and relaxed than you’ve been in a very long time…if ever.

The Law of Attraction states, that which is like unto itself is drawn. More simply stated like attracts like or you get what you ask for. You’re probably saying to yourself right now, “Are you sure? ‘Cause I know I didn’t ask to have all this stress, and be tired and miserable all the time.”

But, if you feel stress, tired and miserable then yeah, unfortunately, you asked for it. But you didn’t mean to. Most people don’t understand that there are universal laws that govern everything we do in this existence.

The Secret

They also don’t understand how the laws work. The secret is to know how to ask for what you want so you don’t end up with more of the same of what you already have. Which, is more of what you really don’t want.

At this point, you’re probably sitting there scratching your head. Let me explain. When you say in frustration, “I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired,” or “With all I have to do over the holidays (or any other time) I’m just so tired all the time.”

Read those two thoughts again very slowly and look at where the focus is. It’s on being sick, and being tired. And most of the time those types of phrases come out of frustration.

All negative emotions. So the universe is bound by law to provide you more of what you ask for. More sick, more tired, more frustration, more getting caught in traffic, more long lines, more not being able to find the right gift. So, bad news is you really did ask for it, good news is you really didn’t mean to.

Changing the way you think and especially the way you feel will go a long way to helping you relax and have a stress free holiday season. Now is the perfect time to tap into the Universal Collective Intelligence. (UC-I) or Source energy.

Miracles Happen All Year

Many people are happy during the holidays and feel what’s known as the holiday spirit, or good will towards their fellow being. That’s because more people have found their way to at least the edge of UC-I this time of year. And more Source energy is flowing so more people are able to tap into it. Miracles do happen everyday, not just around the holidays. We just choose not to look for them.

Make the time to look for the good things now and all year long. And appreciate them when you do see them. Also stop being so serious. Break free once in awhile. Do little things silly during the day that make you laugh.

It’s easy, start by singing silly Christmas songs. Sing aloud sing out proud. The other night my partner and I were coming back from some shopping. We live in Florida, so we had our car windows down enjoying a nice cool evening. We were also singing Christmas songs along to the radio, when some man from another car in another lane yelled out “sing it, it’s sounding jolly.”

Needless to say we burst out laughing so hard that we couldn’t sing all the way home. But you know what, it was fun. There’s nothing better than having a good laugh at yourself to ease the stress.

Being relaxed and happy isn’t that hard and it feels so much better than being stressed and miserable. Other things you can do that make a quick difference: hold the door for someone. Donate a gift to Toys for Tots or some other charity. Take some food to your local food bank. It doesn’t have to be much. But the easiest, cheapest thing you can do is smile at someone just because your face works that way.

Take time to look at the sky. See the beauty around you. Once you begin to do the small things on a regular basis, you’ll feel the stress lift. You’ll feel more relaxed and less frustrated. And, you’ll begin to notice the more positive things in your life.

This is the most important thing. This is where you begin to shift your attraction from negative to positive. As you attract more positive things into your life, you won’t feel or even notice stress any more.

The holidays may seem stressful right now, but if you choose to do the little things, you won’t feel it every minute. It really is okay to be happy in spite of it all. So sing Christmas songs in your car with the windows down. Because if you let loose and really sing, it will sound jolly.
