How-To Guide to Begin Attracting Your Desires
We’ve all heard of the 30-day trial. It’s the most popular way to try out everything from new computer software to beds and everything in between. But, have you ever considered applying the concept of a 30-day trial offer to change your life?
The best thing about a 30-day trial is that if you don’t like your new life you can easily return to the old one. But it’s a fair bet that if you try this trial you’ll be happy to continue with your new life for a very long time.
Most psychologists say you can turn around any habit in 30-days. And, you’ve gotten to where ever you are in your life right now through habits of consistently thinking negative thoughts and having negative feelings. That’s all, just habits that have developed over years and years.
Break the habit of negativity and your life will change. It’s guaranteed, if you follow these three simple guidelines based on the Laws of the Universe and the Secret Laws of Attraction. I can’t guarantee you’ll follow these guidelines to the letter, but if you do, I can guarantee that your life will change for the better.
I’ve heard many people say that the laws of attraction are hogwash. That they don’t work. They can’t possibly work because life doesn’t work that way. They go against what God has planned for us, which couldn’t be further from the truth (but that’s another discussion for another day).
But my all time favorite was, and I quote, “only Harry Potter has the magic to wish himself out of the rotten situations in life. And I ain’t no (blankin’) Harry Potter.”
Truth is there isn’t any magic to the Laws of the Universe. Just as there isn’t any magic to the Law of Gravity. It’s just that most people stop short of attaining their desires and assume it’s hogwash.
I’m not here to make you believe anything you don’t want to believe. In fact, that’s just a waste of time. Because if you really don’t believe that you can change things in your life, you can’t. No, matter what I have to say.
But, if you’re ready to open your mind, at least to the possibility, that you and only you are in control of your own life keep reading. You might just discover the secret to allow your life to become exactly what you desire.
Three Basic Universal Laws
There are three basic Universal Laws. The first is the Law of Attraction, which simply states that like attracts like. So if you think primarily negative thoughts and have negative feelings because of those thoughts you’ll attract negative experiences.
Common signs that your thinking is negative include feelings of stress, anxiety, fear, worry, anger, hatred, loathing, disgust, frustration, depression, and despair. Most people would agree that they have at least one or two of these feelings most of the time.
They’re always afraid, anxious or stressed about something. And it’s because they choose to feel this way most of the time that they do. Feelings are our internal GPS (Guidance Prescience Source).
Our feelings connect us with our Source energy. You may refer to your Source as your guardian angel, intuition, conscience, soul, or God, whatever you choose to call it. I call mine Joy, because that exactly what I feel about life.
But whatever you choose to call it, we all have a built in inner dimension to ourselves that is there to keep us on track. Just by the simple fact that you’re thinking and feeling negative means, you’re not connected to your Source.
Your guiding source has Prescience (pre shee anss) or knowledge of actions or events before they happen. And it communicates through your feelings. Your feelings are the best indicator of just where your life is going. So if you’re satisfied with the current direction of your life, keep thinking the same thoughts, and having the same feelings.
If on the other hand, you’re ready to make a turn and take your life in a whole new direction you need to stop the negative thoughts and feelings and reconnect with your Source. The good news is that there are only three things that you must do to break the old habits for good.
Learn to recognize when you’re feeling negative or bad.
Change the negative or bad feelings to good feelings
Allow into your life all you desire
Sounds simple and it really is when you know how to master the secret.
Mastering the Secret
Figure out what triggers your negativity. Is it your job, the lack of a job, lack of money, feelings of inadequacy, your kids, your spouse, traffic, being in pain or all of the above and more? Next, find something good in your life right now that makes you happy. No matter how bad you perceive things to be there has to be at least one good thing you can focus on that makes you happy.
It could be as simple as petting your dog or cat. It could be getting five minutes of quiet time alone. Whatever it is that makes you really happy find it and focus on it.
Now, I’m not talking about happy…I’m talking about smile until your face hurts when you think about it happy.
Search your data banks and come up with something. Maybe you need to go back to a special present you received as a child. Maybe you need to think of the first time you really fell in love.
The type of feeling you’re trying to connect with is the same type of feeling you get when you’re on a rollercoaster heading down the big drop. Or, when you’ve gotten unexpected good news it’s that exhilarated butterfly in the stomach feeling.
I call this the “butterfly affect.” Because once you get that little butterfly feeling in your stomach then that one good feeling starts to ripple out into several good feelings. And the good feelings just mount one on top of the other until you’re in the right vibration to begin manifesting your desires.
Now you know the type of feeling you’re looking for. And you have at least one thought that gives you the butterfly affect. Focus on that thought and feeling anytime you notice the bad feelings creep in.
Once you become aware of how you’re feeling then it’s easy to change those feelings, if you choose to. Now, you’re not going to go from zero to sixty in a few seconds flat.
It’s going to take patience and some work. In the beginning, you’re going to need to pay close attention to whether or not you’re feeling good or bad. And if you notice you’re on the bad side of things then you need immediately to change the direction of your feelings by thinking your “butterfly thought.”
Your Mission Should You Choose to Accept It
Over the next ten days, your mission is to find fifteen to twenty minutes everyday to sit in a quiet place and practice accessing your “butterfly thought.” Think and feel the feelings just as though your good experience is happening all over again right this moment.
That’s all you need to do for now. Just make time to sit and feel good. Go on with the rest of your day as you normally would. How easy is that?
