Universal Perfection

“Everything is perfect in the universe – even your desire to improve it.”– Dr. Wayne Dyer

Universal Perfection

Take a moment and ask anyone their views on the way things are right now and you’ll get a laundry list of all the things that they find wrong. But could it be that despite the things that are wrong, they are as they’re supposed to be?

Could you just for one second except that everything, no matter what it is, no matter how awful it seems, is as it should be in this very moment? That everything in the universe is on schedule and running according to plan? That there’s no injustice, that the universe does not discriminate against anyone in anyway and that all the diversity we experience is as it’s supposed to be.

What if this was the case? That means that all the suffering that’s going on in the world is supposed to happen. That the struggles, pain, and hardships that we experience or see our fellow humans go through is supposed to be that way. I think so. I think the universe is running along in absolute imperfect perfection.

However, when I really started to consider this fact, I was in terrible conflict. Much like you might be right now. If things are as they should be, then how can they be so messed up? But the more I learned about Universal Law, the more I realized that the universe is as fair as fair can be. It simply gives us what we ask for.

As I continued to educate myself, I concluded that when horrible things happen either directly or indirectly to us, it’s our Divine Wake Up Call. It’s the universe kicking us in the butt saying pay attention! You have the ability to change this situation for the better.

But the problem is most of us don’t see things this way and therefore, ignore the universal kick in the “keester.” Because of this, we keep going on as though we have no control. As though everything that happens does so because we are unlucky, or we’re a victim of circumstance. Or, we choose to believe that our lives are controlled by fate or destiny. Nothing could be further from the truth.

We are in control of every single thing that happens directly or even indirectly to us. We take control through the choices we make: the choice to be proactive in our lives or reactive to our lives. If we take a proactive approach to life we empower ourselves if we take a reactive approach to life we ignore the lessons that the universe fairly provides. And we tend to believe that we have no control.

Changing Perception

Taking a proactive approach to life means accepting responsibility for our decisions. The universe created it so that no one is perfect and no one always makes the right decisions. We’re not expected to. But what we are expected to do is learn from past mistakes and not repeat them. And to educate ourselves before we do make a decision.

So no matter what decisions we’ve made up to this point, we always have the opportunity to stop reacting and start taking charge. By changing our perception of our situation, we can change our focus and start moving in the right direction.

The worse off things are, the more opportunity that we have to take charge. By taking a proactive approach, we first take action to remedy the current situation the best we can. Then we decide that we’re going to do whatever is necessary not to let this type of situation ever happen again. Such decisions can be life changing, because being proactive forces us to listen to our inner Guidance Prescience Source or iGPS.

We have built in Guidance that is linked to and through Source. Source has prescience or knowledge of things to come. So, if we learn to connect with Source and listen to the guidance given then we are easily able start becoming more proactive in our lives. We will instinctively know which decisions are the right ones for us. And we stop reacting to the choices that are not in balance with our core values.

Imperfection is Perfect

So getting a universal kick in the “keester” or a Divine Wake Up Call every now and then really is a good thing. It teaches us to listen and to be proactive so that the situation doesn’t get out of hand. It keeps us from becoming complacent. It gives our lives meaning so that we continue to care. And finally, it shows us just how lucky we are to have all that we do.

I think many people believe that by getting in touch with Source and consistently practicing the Universal Laws that their lives will be Utopia. That nothing bad will ever happen if they make all the right decisions. But because we are imperfect beings and we fail to listen, now and again we can’t and won’t always make the right decisions. But what we can do is learn to live the very best life we possible can by being proactive when situations do arise.

It’s the incredible diversity and differences that exist in the universe that makes us who we are. It keeps us thinking, it makes us creative, and it shows us our unlimited potential. So as it is the universe and all it contains is perfect in its imperfection. Things are as they’re supposed to be.
