“Your self image comes from every thought you visualize. Every thought creates a pattern. You identify with your thoughts. So therefore your thoughts create your life.”—SL Taylor
What You See
**Visualization literally means to visualize – imagine; conceive of; see in one’s mind; is the act of making mental images.
**Creative (Creativity) is a mental and social process involving the generation of new ideas or concepts, or new associations of the creative mind between existing ideas or concepts. Creativity is fueled by the process of either conscious or unconscious insight.
Creative visualization is probably one of the important aspects of changing your mind-set and freeing yourself of self-limiting beliefs. Meditation and visualization allow you to open your mind so that you can connect with your Higher Source. This connection helps you to visualize exactly your life as you desire it. But in order for it actually to happen, there’s a bit more to it than just seeing a picture in your mind.
Many tend to equate creative visualization with daydreaming, which most of us do on a regular basis. The real difference is that a daydream comes from wishing and hoping and creative visualization comes from a place of clear inner focus and intent.
You should be confident, expecting, and truly believe everything you visualize will manifest with out a doubt. Any uncertainty or ambivalence will keep you from attracting what you’re visualizing. Because ambivalence means you aren’t aligned with your Higher Source. And it’s through alignment or connection that the things you visualize good or bad affect your life.
You’ve heard the old saying-be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. That happens to be true. If you’re one of those people who see doom and gloom everywhere then doom and gloom will be prominent in your life. If you see happiness and harmony then that will be prominent. So it’s important that you’re very clear on what you desire for your life.
Tips on Using Visualization
Be consistent. Like everything else about implementing new strategies into your life, you should try to make this part of you daily routine and do it consistently. You should set aside at least 20-25 minutes a day to get full benefit from the visualization.
About five minutes before I start my visualization I set my intention, I say that I expect this time to be productive, quiet, and uninterrupted. Then I turn off the phone, lock my doors, and find my comfortable spot. For me this a comfy chair in my living room where I can put my feet up and relax.
Before you start any visualization, make sure you’re in a good frame of mind. Don’t begin if you’re not in a good place. You won’t get any benefit from the exercise and there is a possibility that you can tap into the negative consciousness, something you want to avoid at all costs.
The real keys to manifesting your desires are focus and the ability to make the connection with your Higher Source. The images you see in your mind must be clear, well defined, and specific. Now it may take some practice before you can see things clearly but it will happen if you keep at it.
Once you’re all set, happy, and comfy, close your eyes, and start with some deep breathing. As you take a breath in say to yourself, “I breathe in positive energy,” and as you breathe out say, “I breathe out negative energy.”
Don’t rush the process. Just breathe for a little while. Listen to your breath and clear your mind. The only ting you should be thinking is I breathe in positive energy, I breathe out negative energy. You’ll soon find yourself relaxing and feeing more comfortable. Don’t fight the feelings just go ahead and surrender to them.
As you do, you should begin to feel a sensation come over your body. Like you have butterflies in your stomach. That fluttery feeling you get when you’re really exited about something. Once this happens you can begin the process of visualizing.
I call this the “butterfly affect” because when you experience this feeling you are connecting with your Higher Source and this is when things really begin to happen. One little thought ripples out into the universe and starts a glorious chain reaction.
Because of this, be sure to visualize things as you expect them to be not as they are. See the images as though they are occurring now. Feel the feelings as though whatever you are thinking is happening now. I always end up with such a big smile on my face that my jaws are tired when I finish my visualization. This is how you want to feel as though it really is happening NOW.
It Works Because Mass and Energy are Interchangeable
Albert Einstein’s E=mc2 is the basis for understanding how visualization works. Einstein realized that matter and energy are just different forms of the same thing. They’re interchangeable at the molecular level. Matter can be transformed into energy, and energy into matter.
In addition, quantum theorists have run multiple experiments that prove that when one observes an electron and there is a preconceived idea where it might go, they found that the electron went where it was expected to go. Meaning that somehow it was influenced by thought.
And perhaps it’s not a coincidence that everything in the universe is made up of energy. Planets, flowers, chairs, buildings, animals, every conceivable object, including humans are all energy.
All this combined with Einstein’s theory has huge implications. If at the molecular level, matter and energy are interchangeable and thought can be used to influence it then it’s not such a leap to theorize that we create the world around us at the subatomic level based on our thoughts, expectations, and beliefs.
Therefore, by using creative visualization techniques to tap into your Higher Source and the energy of universal consciousness we can use this alignment to manifest anything we can visualize.
By practicing creative visualization consistently, you can literally change the direction of your life. You can manifest anything you can visualize, success, health, prosperity, better relationships and in the process you’ll learn more about yourself.
Once you learn to connect with your Higher Source it’s not at all unusual to discover that what you thought you wanted really isn’t at all what you want. Your Higher Source is your connection to the universal consciousness or as most refer to it God.
And the more you’re able to make this connection you may well find that you have a very different path ahead. But should this happen to you, don’t worry it will be the greatest discovery you’ve ever made in your life. So start visualizing your way to the life you deserve and desire.
