Attract Better Health

Research shows that there is definitely a mind-body connection and that our bodies respond to the way we think, feel, and act. Almost every report you read lists stress as a cause for or contributor to a long list of common diseases. High blood pressure, ulcers, heart disease, cancer, ulcerative colitis, AIDS, migraines, headaches, stroke, anxiety, and depression, to name just a few, have all been linked to the effects of stress on the body.

Stress comes from thinking negatively. When you are not connected to your inner GPS (Guidance Prescience Source) your body reacts through negative feelings and emotions. This leaves you out of balance, feeling stressed, tired, and emotionally drained.

Once this happens you stop paying attention to feeling good. You might start eating the wrong foods. Perhaps you look to alcohol or drugs to make you feel better. But simply doing the best you can to manage your stress and change your negative thinking will go a long way to restoring your natural connection with Source.

Also, talking with your doctor about how you feel and how much stress you have can help as well. I firmly believe that we play the biggest role in healing ourselves. But, I also believe that some times medical care is necessary too.

By using stress-relieving techniques like positive thinking, Qigong, Yoga, meditation and affirmations in conjunction with the treatments that your doctor provides will allow you to reconnect with your inner GPS and heal that much faster.

To get the most benefit out of an affirmation you should first write it down. Make sure you use something that you can easily carry with you like a 3×5 card. Then repeat the affirmation to yourself several times during the day.

Be sure you’re in a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Affirmations can be most effective if you say them first thing in the morning before you get out of bed and last thing at night before you go to sleep. This is generally when you’re the most relaxed during the day.

Wishing you the 3-H’s…health, happiness and harmony…always and all ways.
