You can implement these quick strategies in 5 minutes or less. Each one focuses on the mind, the body, and the spirit. Implement just one or all three. They’re designed to inspire you to take action, discover, and begin each day with drive, enthusiasm, and a positive outlook.
Day: Thursday Date: 1/6
The Power of Three
Focus on the three things you most to accomplish. You may have many more than this. But if you prioritize them and focus on just three at a time this helps to keep you from feeling so overwhelmed. Breaking it down into smaller chunks gives you a chance to make the necessary changes as you go along.
Mind: Use these three areas as your guide to the choices that you make. Focus on each choice and ask yourself, “Does this choice get me one baby-step closer to accomplishing my goal? If not, then take some time to reevaluate your choices and start making ones that move you closer to accomplishment.
Body: Stay healthy, move, eat right, and get plenty of rest. All of these things are essential to helping you accomplish your goals. If you don’t feel good, you can’t give 100%. And accomplishment comes only when you can give all of yourself to the task at hand.
Spirit: Keep nurturing the seeds of accomplishment you’ve planted. Know that there is a required amount of time for the seed to sprout and your ideas to grow. Have faith in your ideas and yourself and know that Source is with you every step of the way.

Day: Wednesday Date: 1/5
Clearing a Path
Some times, you can set a goal in the past that doesn’t fit with whom you are today. If you’re past goals no longer reflect what you want out of life then let them go. This will make it easier to take the appropriate actions and set the right goals to accomplish the things you most want to right now.
Mind: Create some time to get clear about the things you want to accomplish in your life. Quiet your mind, reflect on your past goals, and ask the hard question- is this goal still right for me now? Listen carefully and you’ll hear the answer. This will give you the clarity you need to take the appropriate action to make the goal an accomplishment or to let it go and set a new goal.
Body: Take a sheet of paper and make three columns. In the first column write down all your goals then in the second column right down write down whether or not this goal still fits with what you’re trying to accomplish now. If so, use the last column to write down the action you’ll take to make it happen. If not, put a big red X through the goal and move on.
Spirit: When you’re creating your quiet time don’t be afraid to ask your Source for guidance. If you listen closely, there will be a faint voice in the back of your head giving you the right answers to your questions. Pay attention this is the guidance that you seek.

Day: Tuesday Date: 1/4
Follow Mom’s Advice
Mom used to say, “If you can’t say anything nice then keep your mouth shut.” Maybe Mom wasn’t as eloquent as she could have been but she got her point across. It seems though the worst things that we have to say we say about and to ourselves. Your internal emotional “self-talk” creates the life you now have. If you want that to change, it’s important to learn to “self-talk” yourself into the life you desire to acquire instead.
Mind: When you allow negative self-talk to run rampant through your thoughts you shut down your creative spirit. Negative feelings destroy the Authentic You. Rather than allowing negativity to run your life, find just one thing that makes you happy, the one thing that you can care about more than your negativity. You have the power inside you to overcome it all.
Body: Look in the mirror at least 3 times a day and say something nice about yourself. Pick one area of your body that you like (or at this point can at least live with) and complement yourself. When you can create a habit of doing this, you will carry this confidence with you everywhere you go.
Spirit: Take a few moments first thing in the morning and thank your Source for the glorious day you’ll experience and for the opportunity just to be you. You are an asset to the entire universe or you wouldn’t still be here. Remember that as you go through your day and any time you feel the need to say something negative about yourself.

Day: Monday Date: 1/3
Eliminate Clutter.
Clutter isn’t just the material stuff that you have lying around. That’s a big part of it. But clutter is also the emotional and spiritual stuff you hold on to as well. When you clutter up your mind, body, and spirit, you block good energy from finding its way to you. You tend to feel anxious, disorganized, and stressed a big part of the time. As you implement these quick strategies, you should be able to let go of some of the “clutter.” This should leave you feeling more energized, organized, and positive.
Mind: Find just one thing that’s been holding you back and let go of it. It could be something from your past. Or, it could be that you think you need “permission” from someone before you try. What ever it is, do y our best to overcome it so that you put yourself on the path to moving forward.
Body: Become conscious of the choices you make regarding food. Food fuels the body, and mind. The more nutritious your choices the more energy you have. The body will burn more of this nutritious food for fuel. This leaves less waste behind to bog you down and clutter up your system so you feel more energetic and clear headed.
Spirit: Take at least 5 minutes a day to get quiet and breathe. Just find a place where you won’t be disturbed and sit down and say these three affirmations to yourself (or find three affirmations that work for you). Say each one three times: I breathe in positivity, I breathe out negativity. I breathe in pure white energy, I breathe out dark stagnant energy. I breathe in Source, I breathe out Source. Once you’re able to create a habit of doing this, you will feel more energized and less stressed.
